You can now incorporate attendance placeholders within your parent communications in Chronicle.

By using the available attendance placeholders you can enhance your school’s ability to communicate student attendance with parents and improve parents awareness of their child’s attendance at school.

Incorporate the attendance placeholders into your Chronicle template communications by following the steps below:

1. In Chronicle, go to the ‘Templates’ tab
2. Create a new attendance template or edit an existing one
3. Click on the ‘Communications’ tab
4. Click on the relevant Communication type tab, for example 'Parent Email'
5. In the placeholders section, click on the attendance placeholder to add it to the communication
