Parents’ ability to acknowledge Chronicle entries
In many schools, Chronicle entries are vital tools used to document student progress, behavioural notes, or education plans. The new update enables parents to acknowledge Chronicle entries directly through the Compass portal.
Parents play a pivotal role in the educational journey. Allowing them to acknowledge entries ensures better alignment between school and home, especially when it comes to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or other notes requiring parental involvement.
Feature Highlights
- Parents can acknowledge entries if the feature is enabled at the portal and entry/template level.
- Once acknowledged, an audit log is generated for staff visibility.
This update marks a significant step forward in parent-school engagement and gives educators greater assurance of parental awareness.
