Yesterday, we identified a defect in a recent software release which has unfortunately triggered multiple or old notifications to be sent out to staff and parents. This defect was caused by an enhancement to the notification service for stability.
We are deeply sorry for the disruption this has caused for your school community. Please rest assured that we are working towards identifying the appropriate steps to ensure this issue does not occur again in the future.
While the defect was resolved late yesterday afternoon, a backlog of notifications meant that your staff and parents continued to receive notifications throughout the evening. Our team has now manually fixed the issue and we can confirm that it has been fully resolved. Compass users will no longer receive duplicate/old notifications.
We understand that this is not a minor inconvenience, and we really appreciate your patience as we worked towards a solution.
