Customise the name of Learning Task category tags
Enhancing customization in Learning Tasks just got easier! Now, users can tailor category names directly within the existing ‘Enable Learning Task Categories’ setting. This update provides greater flexibility and ensures that Learning Task categories reflect the specific structure you prefer.
Immediate enrolment in Group Activities
You can now enrol students in the current group activity when creating a Chronicle entry, ensuring immediate tracking of attendance without waiting for the next session. This update helps maintain accurate records and enhances real-time student supervision.
Enhanced Intelligent roll marking
We’ve enhanced Intelligent Roll Marking in Compass to give schools greater flexibility and accuracy in attendance tracking. Sessions using Intelligent Roll Marking will now read previous roll markings, ensuring student attendance is recorded correctly without requiring manual updates from teachers.
Additionally, Intelligent Roll Marking can be used as an alternative to the auto-marking feature configured in Year Level Management. Schools can now select specific timetabled periods for auto-marking by setting the roll marking mode to Intelligent within the Period Structure in Configure Schedules.

Expiry for overdue Learning Task dashboard alert
Schools can now set an expiry date for overdue notifications on the Learning Tasks dashboard. This gives parents a buffer period to address outstanding tasks before the notification is automatically removed.
