From here there will be a few actions and follow ups, with a roadmap planning session to follow where the steps and dates needed to get you to launch are locked in.

Onboarding is where most of the magic happens. It’s the largest phase of the project and during Onboarding we’ll be looking after the technical side of things. We’ll make the system connections so you can begin data transfer, develop your custom Compass Portal, and give you access before Go Live to play in.
During Onboarding we’ll also be engaging your school for feedback, training your super users and performing general User Acceptance Testing. As we near the end of Onboarding we’ll be doing final checks on the software, ensuring all data capture is compliant with regulations and getting ready to Go Live.

As the project nears completion, we’ll begin training your school on how to use, and get the most from Compass. We’ll run a series of training sessions for your staff covering the specific tools they’ll need to use. We’ll also run training sessions for Parents and Guardians, and show you how to issue login details. During this phase, your staff will have the chance to play in the virtual sandbox to become familiar with things before we launch.

The big day has arrived! Your people are trained, system set up and ready to go - now we press the green button and launch. Over the first few weeks after launch, we’ll be on hand to support you closely - making sure your school is happy and comfortable with your new software. Our training team will provide you with all the training materials you’ll need, and you’ll have access to Compass Academy, our home of training modules, video and other useful content.
The good news is it doesn’t end there, our highly engaged Facebook group of schools like you is a great source of information and advice. And, our local support team is available to you five days a week, from 7am to 2am AEST. Simply get in touch directly via chat, email or over the phone.
