Set Default Values for Chronicle Fields
You can now set default values for Chronicle fields, so the data is pre-filled when an entry is created. This cuts down on repeated data entry and helps keep records consistent. This way, staff only need to update the details that actually differ, saving valuable time for other important tasks.
Available for the following field types:
- Text
- Text Area
- Date
- Time
- Checkbox
- On-Campus Location
- Dropdown List
- Grouped Checkbox
- Teaching Staff
- Number Field
Filter and Search Chronicle Templates
Finding the Chronicle template you need has never been more efficient. We’ve added a Filter by Category dropdown and a Template Search field to the Templates tab, so you can narrow things down by Category or simply type a few letters of the name you’re after and get straight to the one you need.
Full Visibility of Parent Chronicle Acknowledgements
Monitoring and following up on parent Chronicle entry acknowledgements just got easier! You can now see whether parents have acknowledged an entry at a glance in the ‘All Entries’ tab with the new ‘Acknowledgement Status’ column. This information is also included in the Detailed Chronicle Report so you can check the acknowledgement status across multiple entries at once.

Colour-Coded Severity Scale for Medical Conditions
You can now easily identify the severity of students’ medical conditions using colour-coded and descriptive indicators, to allow for efficient action to be taken when needed.
Severity is shown using the following text and colour:
- Low: Blue
- Moderate: Purple
- Severe: Red
- Unspecified: Red and labelled Unspecified

Additional Tools for Connect Administrators
Connect Administrators now have the ability to oversee, archive and unarchive chats school-wide to support your school’s duty of care around student communication.
From the Connect menu, select the People icon and search for a user. The user’s chats will then appear, allowing you to view them as needed. In the case a chat was incorrectly archived, simply select ‘Include archived’ in your search and you can select the chat to unarchive it.
This feature is available to users with the ConnectAdmin permission.

A more powerful way to post in News Feed
Posting in News Feed just got a big upgrade packed with new features!
Including:
- Copy and paste from other documents retaining formatting
- Font and background colour options to make posts stand out
- Tables, rows and horizontal lines to structure your content
- Full rich text formatting – headings, lists, links and styling
- Drag and drop images, resize and embed within the posts
Resource Bookings Uplift
We’ve refreshed the Resource Bookings module, giving it a cleaner layout, making it easier to read availability at a glance and book resources with fewer clicks.
Everything you could already do – checking your bookings, browsing schedules, approving and managing resources – still works exactly the same way. It just looks sharper and runs smoother.
