In this blog post, we’re shining a spotlight on a few powerful features in Enrolments that you may not have discovered yet.
From updates to the module dashboard to improvements in the Communications tab, these tools are designed to help you work more efficiently and get even more value from Enrolments.
Please note that the features highlighted in this post are not relevant to schools that currently use the School Enrolments module.
New Enrolments Dashboard
We’ve introduced a new Enrolments Dashboard tab, giving schools a clearer view of their enrolment pipeline through interactive charts and visual insights.
This view helps admissions teams quickly understand application trends, track progress through the enrolment journey, and analyse applicant data across year levels, campuses, and genders.
Key widgets include:
- Applications Each Year: view application volumes by target enrolment year
- Gender Summary: See the percentage breakdown of applicants by gender
- Current Status of Applications: Understand how applications are distributed across statuses
- Application Status by Year Level: Analyse how applications progress through different year levels
- Conversion Funnels: Track how applications move from draft through to enrolment, with breakdowns by campus and gender
Schools can also filter these widgets to explore data by target year, year level, campus, gender and application status, allowing teams to quickly identify trends and make informed enrolment decisions.
For schools using Expressions of Interest forms, these can also be included in dashboard insights where applicable.

Communication Log
The Communication Log tab in Enrolments makes it easier to keep track of every interaction relating to an applicant in one central place.
From here, you can view all communications sent to or recorded against an applicant, giving staff clear visibility over previous conversations and updates throughout the enrolment process. Schools can also manually add entries to the communications log to capture phone calls, notes and other important interactions, ensuring nothing is missed and key details are always easy to refer back to.
Emails sent directly from the Enrolments module are automatically recorded in the log, making it simple to revisit past correspondence or reference it in future communications. Schools can also generate reports of all communications within a selected date range, providing a useful overview of how often applicants are being contacted.
For schools transitioning to Compass Enrolments, existing communications between the school and applicants can be imported, retaining important history and context.
Additionally, schools can choose to have communications recorded in the log automatically create Chronicle entries when a student is enrolled. This optional feature can be enabled upon request by the Compass Support Team.
