Exciting Updates: Enhanced Medical Condition Visibility, Duplicate a News Feed item, Customise the Parent Login Email and more!

View Medical Conditions title when hovering over flag

When hovering over the Medical Condition flag on a student’s profile, staff can now see the title of the student’s medical condition. If a student has multiple medical conditions, their titles will be displayed in a stacked list for easy reference.

Permissions & Visibility:

  • Only staff with UserRecordsAdmin or StudentPersonalView.MedicalDetails permissions can see the specific medical condition title when hovering over the flag, provided the flag is set to display.
  • Staff without these permissions will see “Medical Condition” instead of “Serious Medical Condition.”

This update is currently available only in the web browser, with support for the mobile app coming soon.

Student Display Option for Subject Wide Learning Tasks

For Subject Wide Learning Tasks, on the ‘Detailed Results’ tab, teachers can now choose to display either all students who have ever been enrolled in the class or only those currently enrolled.

When ‘Currently Enrolled Students’ is selected, only students with an active enrolment in the class will appear in the list. When ‘All Students’ is selected, all students who have been enrolled in the class at any time will be displayed. By default, currently enrolled students will appear in the list.

This display option allows teachers to easily enter results for students currently enrolled in their class. In cases where a teacher needs to enter a result for a student who has since moved classes, they can change the display view and still enter the result.

Duplicate News Feed Item

You can now duplicate both current and expired news feed items, making it easier to create new posts with the same structure and similar content.

When duplicating a news feed post, you can update its details, information, and attachments before publishing it as a new post and sending communications.

Customise the Parent Login Email template

You can now edit the content of the parent login email, allowing your school to personalize the message and include important information for new families.

This update gives you greater flexibility to tailor the email with essential details, making the onboarding process smoother and more informative for parents.
