Learning Task Calendar Layer
Learning Task due dates can now be displayed on staff schedules, ensuring greater visibility of upcoming student work. Schools can choose which Task categories appear on schedules and control who can see them – whether that’s all involved staff or just lead teachers. This makes it easier to track deadlines, stay organised and support students more effectively!
To configure the Learning Task calendar layer, please follow these steps:
- Go to Administration Tools located under the cog icon
- Navigate to Learning Tasks Administration
- Under the Settings tab, configure the ‘Include Category in Learning Task Calendar Layer’ and ‘Display Learning Task Calendar Entries on Staff Schedules’ fields
- Click ‘Save’

Guttman Charts for Rubrics
Teachers can now view a Guttman chart for marked rubrics with partial grading enabled in Compass, providing a powerful new way to analyse student progress! This data visualisation tool helps identify patterns in results and makes it easier to see students’ academic progress. With clearer insights into rubric data, teachers can make more informed decisions to support learning outcomes.
To access the Guttman chart, go to mark a Learning Task > Click the attached rubric (must have partial grading enabled) > Navigate to the Guttman chart tab.

Bulk Create Debtors: Search & Export
Bulk debtor creation is now even easier! With the addition of a search bar and CSV export option, you can quickly review and validate debtors created through the Bulk Create Debtors tool. These enhancements provide greater visibility and control, helping streamline your billing workflows in Compass.
