We’re excited to introduce an upgrade that gives schools greater control over how they manage Attendance Notifications.

All schools will now have the Advanced Configuration Mode enabled for Attendance Notifications, unlocking the ability to create up to 15 tailored notifications, including multiple triggers for each notification type. This means you can fine-tune your messaging to better suit different year levels, campuses, and timing needs.
Whether you want to follow up more effectively with families or ensure absences are explained promptly, this update gives you the flexibility to make it happen.

You’ll find Advanced Configuration Mode in the same place you already manage Attendance Notifications in your portal, and any existing notifications you’ve set up will continue to function as they are.

If you’d like a step-by-step guide, check out our Knowledge Base article for more details.

We’ve added a new attendance report to help schools stay on top of roll marking. This report highlights classes where rolls are marked beyond a specified time threshold, making it easier to monitor compliance with your school’s roll-marking policies and keep attendance data timely and accurate.

The Roll Marking Compliance Report can be found in the Attendance module > Dashboard tab > Other Reports.

Available in: VIC, NSW, SA, QLDNT, WA & CEnet schools

We’ve enhanced the Chronicle Points Summary report to give you more flexibility and control. In addition to the existing ability to select a date range, you can now generate an export of students’ current point totals as of a specified date, and filter by selected categories. This makes it easier to capture accurate data, especially for points accumulated over multiple years.

This report can be accessed via the Chronicle module > Dashboard tab > Chronicle Reports.

Available in: VIC, NSW, SA, QLDNT, WA & CEnet schools

You can now choose whether Chronicle entry attachments are visible to parents and students so they can still see the details of an entry, without accessing sensitive attachments. This allows for greater flexibility and control within Chronicle, making it easier for staff to include internal documentation on entries, while keeping it private and secure.

Available in: VIC, NSW, SA, QLDNT, WA & CEnet schools

Students can now sign in and out of study sessions via a Kiosk, making attendance tracking quicker and easier. With the new “Location/Session Sign In” setting for Kiosks available in Client Manager, you can create activities with the required attendance codes for students to sign in to. Each time a student signs into these activities via a Kiosk, this will automatically create a School Activity, which ends when the student signs out.

Available in: VIC, NSW, SA, QLDNT & WA schools
